The greater comparative price of an original consumable gives the assurance of the ink jets not being damaged or clogged up by an inferior alternative.

The printer seems to be ambivalent about the new TonerGiant drum. Every day or two, I find all but one of the error lights are on and flashing (Toner-Drum-Paper-Status). This is not a listed error, so it is not clear what the problem is. However, if I switch the printer off and then on again, the error clears. Workable but not very helpful. Printer is only partly happy with TonerGiant drum.

After several orders I can say the print quality of the compatible toner sets is just about indestinguishable from the very costly branded ones. Only one small problem has been seen with any of them, which was that a yellow cartridge, when nearly empty, started leaking and putting yellow blotches on all documents, even in black & white printing. Fortunately nothing important, but my hoover got a good workout that day!!

Good service, reasonable price compared to other ink cartridge suppliers. However, I find the extreme high cost of printer ink very strange and believe it's simply down to global demand and therefore that's probably the only reason it commands that level of price in the overall market place. Service would have been 5 stars but delivery was a day later than quoted, which annoyingly delayed my production of some hard copies. That point needs to be taken up by Toner Giant with their courier as the courier left a card saying they missed me, yet I was in all day on the day they were due to deliver. Furthermore, they normally leave parcels in my porch, which is not locked during the day. Moreover, I then responded by putting a note on the porch window to ensure they left it there the following day, only to receive that same day a message from them (DPD) thanking me for telling them where to leave the parcel in a safe place! Yet I hadn't messaged them that information (it was a note stuck on my porch window)! If they had returned to my property and read that note, why then had they not left the parcel? I can only assume DPD didn't have the parcel on board on the day of delivery and simply left a card note in the door saying they missed me. Then they follow it up with a fictional message thanking me for letting them know of a safe place to leave it the following day.

Delivery is speedy. I bought a generic ink cartridge in January, something I never normally do but you said they were guaranteed. I had to buy the cartridge on this order because the generic one ran out with no warning. Branded cartridges tell you when the ink is low, the generic one didn't. Also I'm pretty sure it didn't last anything like as long as the branded ones, even though it was an XL. Never again!

As said previously the goods were as described, and the cartridge was delivered quickly. Since this is a compatible cartridge and I have an HP printer I need to roll back the firmware on the device such that the cartridge would work. I am an IT professional so this was not a problem for me but for the layperson this might be a step too far. This is not TonerGiant's fault but something more generally that people should be aware of when purchasing compatible cartridges.

I ordered this specifically due to next day delivery (as I have done in the past and never had an issue). However, after 3 days there was no delivery. I had to call to be told that attempts had been made to deliver. AS I WORK I have put in place a locked parcel safe and a secure location (meter cupboard) which parcels are regularly left in. Also my neighbours are mainly in but no attempt had been made to leave it with them. I THINK YOU NEED TO USE DIFFERENT COURIERS AS DPD ARE LETTING YOU DOWN BADLY
