Product Details

Prevent streaky and blotchy prints when your fuser unit runs out with the genuine Samsung Jc91-01080a unit. You can expect nothing but premium quality with original Samsung products from TonerGiant.

What is a fuser unit?

Fuser units are a pair of heated rolls located within the printer itself, playing a pivotal role in producing those top results. As the name suggests, this piece of equipment works by fusing the toner onto the page as you’re printing. By applying both heat and pressure to the paper at the same time, it presses the image or text onto the document permanently.

How to replace a Samsung Xpress Fuser Unit

Due to heavy wear and tear, you’ll need to replace your Samsung Xpress C460fw fuser unit every so often. Fuser units are a long-lasting product that, therefore, don’t require much maintenance once it’s been replaced. While it is possible to replace the unit at home, it’s recommended that you ask a trained professional to install the printer fuser unit as it’s a very complex task.
The Samsung Xpress C460fw is one of many printers that the JC91-01080a is compatible with. To see the other printers that this product will work with, please look to the right of the page.
In a rush to get your Samsung fuser unit? Place your order before 5:30 pm on any working day and you’ll be entitled to free standard delivery. Simply select it before checkout and you’ll receive your product the very next day at no extra cost.

Customer Questions (15)

Q
My Samsung C430W has taken to only printing about 20% of the page in colour and the rest only in black and white. The diagnostics report say replace the Fuser Unit. Is that likely to be the correct solution?
16 February 2024
A
Normally if the fuser isn't working you'd see some toner spillage inside the printer. That being said, if it's asking for you to replace the fuser, you will need to. Unfortunately, there's no real way of knowing whether this specific issue is the fuser or imaging units / toner, you just have to replace things in a trial and error basis and see if it corrects the issue. If you a spare toner around, try replacing that first. Then if you get the same issue, it's eliminating that from the equation.

Q
Will the fuser unit counter be reset after replacing the fuser unit?
16 February 2024
A
Yes it will reset on it's own but make sure the printer is switched off and unplugged when you replace it so when it boots back up and re-initialises, the memory resets correctly. If you need any more help, let us know.

Q
Will this work with a Samsung multiXpress C9301 floor standing printer?
14 November 2023
A
No, this isn't the correct fuser for the C9301 printer. You would need the JC91-01063A but we can't currently get it. I think it may be discontinued.

Q
Hi, I have seen that this fuser may be compatible with the HP laser 179fnw? Would you be able to confirm or advise an alternative? Thanks.
29 March 2023
A
Hi Andy, unfortunately, we do not have this product in stock for your machine, as soon as it becomes available to us we will add it to the site.

Q
I sent an email before and didn't have a concrete response. My printer works on 110v voltage. Is the item for sale compatible with this 110v voltage?
13 August 2021
A
Hi there, as long as both the printer and fuser unit are from the UK then they should be using the same voltage, so yes, as this product is manufactured for use in the UK. If you are still unsure I would suggest emailing Samsung directly with our product part number. I hope this helps.

Q
My Samsung c460w is asking for a new transfer belt, and also a new fuser. Looking at the costs for replacing these two items it looks like I'd be better off buying a new printer. Do you concur? Tim.
18 November 2020
A
Hi, It depends on how often you are printing. A new transfer belt will last you 20,000 prints so it all depends on how many times you are replacing it. If you are replacing it quite often then yes, buying a new printing with a greater capacity might be a better idea.

Q
Will this fit a Samsung Xpress c480fw printer?
14 August 2020
A
Hi there, yes that's correct. It does fit the C480FW.

Q
I need a new fuser unit for my Samsung Xpress C480W, this model doesn't appear on your lists, will it fit?
08 May 2020
A
Hi there, yes it will definitely fit, the Xpress C480W is the same printer as the SL-C480W.

Q
Hello. Is this fuser compatible with my Samsung Xpress C480FW?
09 April 2020
A
Hi there, yes this is the correct fuser for the Samsung Xpress C480FW printer.

Q
Is this compatible with the Samsung express C480w please?
28 November 2019
A
Hi there, yes it does indeed work in the Samsung Xpress C480W printer.

Q
Will this fuser unit work for an Xpress C430W?
30 September 2019
A
Hi there, yes this is the correct fuser for the Xpress C430W.

Q
Will this fuser unit work on a Samsung press SL-c460w/xbg? Thanks!
29 April 2019
A
Hi there, whilst this is the correct product for the C460W printer, I'm afraid it would only work if you purchased a UK-based printer which normally has the model SL-C460W/SEE. I believe that the /xbg is a Spanish model and I don't think it would work in a printer purchased in or shipped from Spain.

Q
How do I replace the fuser unit on a c460w?
23 November 2018
A
Hi, this is quite a complex procedure but you can find a video here that shows the process:

https://youtu.be/WF66tVktNI8.

Q
Does this work with the C480FW? It's the upgraded version from the C460FW, which says it does work.
02 August 2017
A
yes that's correct it does work with the C480FW printer, I’ll make sure that model is added to the list of compatible printers as well.

Q
How easy is it to fit the Samsung 3300 Fuser unit, there are no instructions?
22 November 2015
A
Hi there, if you search youtube there is a video that gives detailed instructions on how to do that. I've watched it and it looks quite complex and requires many parts of the printer to be removed. I would say this is best handled by a printer technician to make sure that it's done correctly.
