My Samsung C430W has taken to only printing about 20% of the page in colour and the rest only in black and white.
The diagnostics report say replace the Fuser Unit.
Is that likely to be the correct solution?

Normally if the fuser isn't working you'd see some toner spillage inside the printer. That being said, if it's asking for you to replace the fuser, you will need to. Unfortunately, there's no real way of knowing whether this specific issue is the fuser or imaging units / toner, you just have to replace things in a trial and error basis and see if it corrects the issue. If you a spare toner around, try replacing that first. Then if you get the same issue, it's eliminating that from the equation.

Will the fuser unit counter be reset after replacing the fuser unit?

Yes it will reset on it's own but make sure the printer is switched off and unplugged when you replace it so when it boots back up and re-initialises, the memory resets correctly. If you need any more help, let us know.

No, this isn't the correct fuser for the C9301 printer. You would need the JC91-01063A but we can't currently get it. I think it may be discontinued.

Hi there, as long as both the printer and fuser unit are from the UK then they should be using the same voltage, so yes, as this product is manufactured for use in the UK. If you are still unsure I would suggest emailing Samsung directly with our product part number. I hope this helps.

My Samsung c460w is asking for a new transfer belt, and also a new fuser. Looking at the costs for replacing these two items it looks like I'd be better off buying a new printer. Do you concur?

Hi, It depends on how often you are printing. A new transfer belt will last you 20,000 prints so it all depends on how many times you are replacing it. If you are replacing it quite often then yes, buying a new printing with a greater capacity might be a better idea.

Hi there, whilst this is the correct product for the C460W printer, I'm afraid it would only work if you purchased a UK-based printer which normally has the model SL-C460W/SEE. I believe that the /xbg is a Spanish model and I don't think it would work in a printer purchased in or shipped from Spain.

Hi there, if you search youtube there is a video that gives detailed instructions on how to do that. I've watched it and it looks quite complex and requires many parts of the printer to be removed. I would say this is best handled by a printer technician to make sure that it's done correctly.
