Is the HP 302XL not compatible with the Hp office Jet 3835? It keeps saying cartridges are not intended for this printer on the screen after a couple of print outs when first installed in the printer.

Hi Sara, yes the HP 302 inks are correct for the HP OfficeJet 3835 printer. Are the cartridges you have original HP or remanufactured inks? I believe there was a recent printer update that caused a lot of remanufactured inks to stop working in newer printers.

Before I purchase a black 302 and the colour ink for my officejet 3831. I'm making sure these arent instant ink ones?
I have instant ink ones in and it wont let me print. screen advises to go on hp instant ink site. but there it asks my to sign up to have inks delivered to my house. I have been told to purchase the non instant ink ones.

Hi there, we only have the compatible versions of the 302XL tri-colour and black inks but not the HP 302 standard inks. If you can let me know your printer model I can check if they can be used for you.
