The cartridge box had been opened before, so had the bubble wrapping and black plastic bag. There was no 'pull-out strip' on the cartridge that is usual on an HP cartridge. It is not known if this is normally installed on a toner giant cartridge. The cartridge showed indications that it had been installed and used. Weighed old and new cartridge, difference only 80 grams between the 2. Initially black stripes on the print-out, reducing after a few prints, but with a small black smudge on the top middle of each page thereafter. Would have normally sent the cartridge back, however needed to print several letters and did not have the time to wait for a replacement. Time will tell how long it will last!!!
