How long will HP LaserJet Pro M15W toner last?

HP M44A toners for the LaserJet M15W printer are intended for one user at a time and will last up to 1000 pages at normal use. this means that if you are simply printing text paragraphs (rather than pictures or prints with large shaded areas) then your new toner will certainly last as long as stated. However if you are printing heavier documents, your toner will run out faster. For example, if you printed at 20% page coverage rather than the standard 5%, your toner will print a maximum of 250 pages. If you print 10 pages each day, you would need to replace the toner within 25 days.

If your product becomes faulty
  • Original Cartridges: Return for a refund or replacement for up to 12 months.
  • Compatible cartridges: Return for a refund or replacement up to 3 years.
Please contact us a soon as possible to request a returns number and arrange a free collection.
If you change your mind - 30 Days to return:
  • You have 14 days from delivery to arrange a return and an additional 16 days to return the items to us once arranged (30 Days in total).
  • Ordered incorrectly? We’ll provide a returns number and address for you to send to.
  • Wrong item arrived – We’ll arrange a free collection of the incorrect product(s) and send a replacement.
After 14 days, you may still be able to return the product, but a 20% restocking fee will apply. After 30 days, returns are at our discretion.
Please note: Printer cartridges must be returned unopened, unused, with all seals intact and in a resalable condition, or returns may not be accepted.

I have just received the new toner cartridge for my HP M15w. I was dismayed to realise that what I thought was a genuine HP replacement is compatible. It is entirely my mistake. I see that the genuine HP costs a little more. In my experience, HP has set their machines up to have hysterics if they don't get the original cartridges. Is it possible to return the copy to you and pay the extra for a genuine cartridge? Please advise me. Angela.

Do the toners dry up over time?

Hi there, thanks for your question. Toner is actually powder so can't dry up, however, it can deteriorate if stored in areas of high humidity or moisture. They are given a 2-year expiration date by most manufacturers so should be fine if used within that timescale (however the official return guarantee with regards to faults is 6 months).
