Ink Cartridges for the Canon PIXMA TS3150

Ink cartridges for your PIXMA TS3150 come in two different size options for black and colour inks. Choose from either PG545 standard black / CL546 tri colour inks that can print up to 180 pages each or PG545XL black/ CL546XL tri colour inks that can print up to 400 pages each. The XL variants are created for those of us that print more frequently and don't want to replace cartridges after a short amount of time but if you only print now and again, it is better to opt for lower capacity cartridges to prevent ink from drying up in the cartridge.Original inks are fully guaranteed for 6 months after purchase.

How to replace Canon PIXMA TS3150 inks

When it comes to replacing your Canon TS3150 inks, it's a relatively straight forward process with a few things to remember. Remember to remove all protective strips that cover the microchip on your new cartridges before installing them and then follow these instructions:

With the printer switched on, lower the front door and cartridges will move to the centre of the cartridge carriage.
Push the cartridge down until it clicks and releases, then pull it towards you to remove it.
Slide in the new cartridge gently until it clicks into position (in the correct colour slot).
Close the printer door.

Your new cartridge will now initiate, align and install.

How do I connect my Samsung a53 to a Canon Pixma ts3150?

You would need to download the Canon print app and use that to connect to the printer.

Do I need to have black and white/colour replacement ink for my Canon TS3150 printer, or can I just order two black? Also please confirm the price for two cartridges? Thank you, Katherine.

Hi, if both cartridges are empty, you would need to replace one black and one colour cartridge for the printer to work correctly. You can find the current price on this page (the packs containing both colours are at the top).

Hi, I am thinking of buying for home use a Canon Pixma TS3150 model and wanted to know what original or compatible ink I need? I put in this model number but that doesn't show. I read that they are PG545 black or 3-colour CL546. I don't want to order the wrong ones. In the past, I have found compatible cartridges to be not very successful! Thank you, Julie.

I only need to use black ink. I know some printers will only work if all cartridges are in place. Will I be able to mix XL size only in BLACK and normal size in colour? I presume I must have colour cartridges in place?

Hi there, yes that's correct. You must have both black and colour cartridges with some ink present for the printer to work. You can indeed mix standard and XL inks at the same time.

Is double-side printing possible?

It is indeed possible but only by manual duplex (the printer will print one side and then you turn the page over and it takes it back into the printer and does the second side).
