how frequently should the drum unit be replaced on a Brother MFC L2700DW

The Brother drum unit DR2300 can last up to 12000 pages so from new one should last anything between 4-10 replacements of the toner cartridge depending on how much you are printing. For example if you normally buy the larger toner cartridge, it would last about 5 replacements of the toner but if you usually use the standard capacity toner then it would last around 10 replacements of the toner.
