Can you use a PG 512 instead of a PG 510 and what is the difference?

You can use them generally depending on the printer model. If you let me know what model you have I can confirm if you can use both. The difference is just the amount of ink in the cartridge. The PG512 has almost double the ink and can print about 400 pages compared to 220 of the PG510.
