Hi there, thanks for contacting us with your question. That's correct, unfortunately, a printer requires all colours and the black cartridge to have toner or it will not print. The correct cartridge reference for the Samsung Xpress C460FW printer is the CLT-K406S for black, CLT-C406S for cyan, CLT-M406S for magenta and CLT-Y406S for Yellow. The best way to save money is to buy the pack containing all 4 toners which save around £17 - £20 compared to buying them on their own, however as mentioned earlier, if you don't need the black toner the only way to buy them without black is to buy them individually.
