Hi there, thanks for contacting us with your question. That's correct, unfortunately, a printer requires all colours and the black cartridge to have toner or it will not print. The correct cartridge reference for the Samsung Xpress C460FW printer is the CLT-K406S for black, CLT-C406S for cyan, CLT-M406S for magenta and CLT-Y406S for Yellow. The best way to save money is to buy the pack containing all 4 toners which save around £17 - £20 compared to buying them on their own, however as mentioned earlier, if you don't need the black toner the only way to buy them without black is to buy them individually. Hi John, if you remove your toner cartridges from the front of the printer, the was toner collector / cartridge is located on the left of where the toner cartridges were and along the vertical inside. you should be able to slide it out from there. Hi Amir, the cartridges on the following page are the correct cartridges for the Samsung Xpress C460FW printer. Hi there, replacing the imaging unit on your Samsung SF-C460FW is quite straightforward. Firstly you need to unplug your printer and then open the front flap to reveal the toner cartridges. Carefully remove each of the toner cartridges and set them to one side (you may wish to place them onto a piece of paper in case any loose toner falls out). Next, remove the waste cartridge found on the left-hand side of the printer (it's quite thin and has the colour indicators on it vertically). That should slide right out. You will then see the imaging unit sat inside at the back of the printer, it has a large green cylinder but please be sure not to touch that on the new unit. The imaging unit should easily slide forwards if you pull the black base of it. You will then be able to slide the new unit back in and then also the waste unit and toner cartridges.
