Hi
The cartridge may not have an exact expiration date on the cartridge but the general rule is that they last for 12 months if stored correctly, so yes this will be fine.
Once you have purchased the cartridge, keep it in an unopened condition and storage it in a cupboard (away from direct sunlight).
I hope this answers your question.
Hi there, thanks for your question.
Yes, this is a problem from time to time. What happens is that HP keeps updating their firmware which puts the microchip information out of date. I believe the last one they did was in January which affected these cartridges.
We've sold a good number of them in the last few months and to be very transparent with you, so far only had one or two returned. Our failure rate is around 4% for our compatible ranges so quite low. Of course, it can happen and as you mentioned we guarantee your satisfaction, and if there is any issue at all, we would replace or refund them. Unfortunately, the nature of compatibles and the battle of original manufacturers to minimise their use means we will sometimes get faulty cartridges but we do our best to mitigate the issues and keep the failure rate low.
