We want you to have the best experience possible when shopping with TonerGiant. With over 20 years’ expertise, our friendly support team is here to help get you printing again quickly. You can arrange to return a product through our returns form, or by calling us on 0345 365 3605.
If your product becomes faulty
  • Original Cartridges: Return for a refund or replacement for up to 12 months.
  • Compatible cartridges: Return for a refund or replacement up to 3 years.
Please contact us a soon as possible to request a returns number and arrange a free collection.
If you change your mind - 30 Days to return:
  • You have 14 days from delivery to arrange a return and an additional 16 days to return the items to us once arranged (30 Days in total).
  • Ordered incorrectly? We’ll provide a returns number and address for you to send to.
  • Wrong item arrived – We’ll arrange a free collection of the incorrect product(s) and send a replacement.
After 14 days, you may still be able to return the product, but a 20% restocking fee will apply. After 30 days, returns are at our discretion.
Please note: Printer cartridges must be returned unopened, unused, with all seals intact and in a resalable condition, or returns may not be accepted.

Hi Alan, the Samsung model M283X represents the series name of the printer so the actual model number would be M2835DW. The toner you need is the MLT-D116S or MLT-D116L. You can find either on this page above.

Hi, I am getting an error code on my Samsung printer model Xpress M2835DW the error code is Fuser unit failure UI - 2330. Is the MLT-R116 the replacement fuser unit for my printer? I have never heard of a fuser unit before and could do with a little help. My printer isn't that old. Any help or guidance is gratefully received. Kind regards Dave G.

Hi Dave, thanks for getting in touch, I'd be happy to help if I can. The Fuser is the maintenance part that melts the toner powder onto the page at the end of the printing process and the imaging unit is the metal cylinder that distributes the toner on the paper before it reaches the fuser so, they are 2 very different things.

Unfortunately, we can't currently get hold of the correct fuser for your machine, I have had trouble even finding which product reference it comes under, but I think that it is JC91-01034B. Your printer manual might give you the right reference.

If you haven't had your printer too long, there's a good chance it's still under warranty with Samsung, so it might be worth checking with them. You will get 12 months with your printer when you buy one. Sorry I couldn't be a great help!

Hi there, the Samsung M283 series of printers including the M2835DW is a mono laser printer and can only print in black so there are no colour toner cartridges that are manufactured for them.

Hi, the Samsung Xpress M2835D is actually a mono laser printer which means you can only print in black or monochrome. Here is a page that will show you some Samsung colour laser printers that you can buy, and if you view the product page of one of them by clicking the image, you will be able to see which toner cartridges it uses how much they currently cost.
