Advantages & Features of the HP Envy 4500

A compact printer model, this model fits the smallest of working spaces superbly as it takes up less space than many all-in-one types. HP Auto Wireless Connect enables quick connection to a home wireless network, which means easy mobile printing. It's especially good for printing photos, delivering lab-quality photos which can be printed border-less. It can also scan photos and documents directly to a mobile device via the HP Printer Control app.

How long will the inkjet cartridges last?

The HP Envy 4500 ink cartridges can deliver up to 21 pages per minute when printing black, reducing slightly to 17 pages per minute in colour. The recommended monthly page volume is estimated at between 300 and 400 pages.

What is the returns policy and how do I return a cartridge?
We want you to have the best experience possible when shopping with TonerGiant. With over 20 years’ expertise, our friendly support team is here to help get you printing again quickly. You can arrange to return a product through our returns form, or by calling us on 0345 365 3605.
If your product becomes faulty
  • Original Cartridges: Return for a refund or replacement for up to 12 months.
  • Compatible cartridges: Return for a refund or replacement up to 3 years.
Please contact us a soon as possible to request a returns number and arrange a free collection.
If you change your mind - 30 Days to return:
  • You have 14 days from delivery to arrange a return and an additional 16 days to return the items to us once arranged (30 Days in total).
  • Ordered incorrectly? We’ll provide a returns number and address for you to send to.
  • Wrong item arrived – We’ll arrange a free collection of the incorrect product(s) and send a replacement.
After 14 days, you may still be able to return the product, but a 20% restocking fee will apply. After 30 days, returns are at our discretion.
Please note: Printer cartridges must be returned unopened, unused, with all seals intact and in a resalable condition, or returns may not be accepted.

How much does delivery cost and how long will it take?

I have an HP Envy 4500. After several years of using remanufactured cartridges, I have today installed one and got the dreaded 'cartridge protected' message. Searching on the web brought me to your site, which I hadn't seen before. I have now gone into printer settings to disable the protection feature going forward. My understanding is that this will prevent my printer from protecting future cartridges, but doesn't prevent my printer from checking whether a cartridge is protected. If I order one of your black XL cartridges, can I be sure it will work despite my printer having this feature? Thank you, Brian.

Hi Brian, thanks for your question. Oh dear, that's very frustrating. The cartridges that we sell are definitely not previously protected cartridges and are tested/checked before they are sent out so you won't have any issues when you install them. Our compatible/remanufactured inks, also carry a 3-year guarantee so if you have any issues at all we will happily replace them or give you a refund if you prefer. You can purchase either the HP 301 or 301XL black. Both will work correctly in the HP envy 4500 printers. The difference between them is the number of pages they can print up to.
