From new, Xerox toners have a 2 year expiry date on the box. So long as they are kept in their original protective packaging, without being opened, they can still be used and will last for that 2
year period. They may still be used after this period, however the toner powder will begin to deteriorate and the quality of prints might be poor. It also poses a risk of deteriorated toner
damaging components of the printer, so it's not recommended to use them after they have expired.
If the toner packaging is open, or the Xerox toners are being stored in a highly humid environment, the moisture may cause the toner to deteriorate faster, and so they may not work correctly in
less than 2 years. It's always best to store them in a dry place, in their sealed packaging.
