Hi there, thanks for your question. I'll do my best to help. Which printer model are you looking for the serial number on? This is actually a toner cartridge, not a printer.
Update: Hi there, I believe you can get the serial number from the printer menu by choosing System setup > Maintenance > Serial number. Let us know if you manage to find it ok.
