What is the returns policy and how do I return a cartridge?
We want you to have the best experience possible when shopping with TonerGiant. With over 20 years’ expertise, our friendly support team is here to help get you printing again quickly. You can arrange to return a product through our returns form, or by calling us on 0345 365 3605.
If your product becomes faulty
  • Original Cartridges: Return for a refund or replacement for up to 12 months.
  • Compatible cartridges: Return for a refund or replacement up to 3 years.
Please contact us a soon as possible to request a returns number and arrange a free collection.
If you change your mind - 30 Days to return:
  • You have 14 days from delivery to arrange a return and an additional 16 days to return the items to us once arranged (30 Days in total).
  • Ordered incorrectly? We’ll provide a returns number and address for you to send to.
  • Wrong item arrived – We’ll arrange a free collection of the incorrect product(s) and send a replacement.
After 14 days, you may still be able to return the product, but a 20% restocking fee will apply. After 30 days, returns are at our discretion.
Please note: Printer cartridges must be returned unopened, unused, with all seals intact and in a resalable condition, or returns may not be accepted.

How much does delivery cost and how long will it take?

Hi Another year has gone by, and I'm another voice wanting a compatible toner. Paying over £200 GBP for 40 grams of dust is getting silly. Cheaper to scrap this printer and buy another to get the full set of toners, albeit their capacity is reduced.

Thanks for your question. I'm currently discussing with manufacturer of our own brand cartridges to see if it's possible to get compatible versions. Up to now it hasn't been possible to get them but I will update you as soon as I hear back.

Just wanted Give an update on compatibles for the Lexmark CS727de. After discussing heavily with the manufacturer we have learned that the reason compatibles cannot be made is that Lexmark have created a serial number for every cartridge that can only be used once in the lifetime of the printer, including compatibles. So, it basically prevents a customer from buying cartridges from the same batch. If a customer wanted to buy 2 black cartridges at the same time for example, the second would not work when they came to use it.

Unfortunately we won't be able to stock them for that reason as we don't want to cause issues for customers while using them, and we'd only be able to stock very small quantities so would likely have stock issues quite frequently. It's a shame because we understand our customers would like them but, the printer software prevents it.

Is there any news on the compatible toner? It's 3 years since you stated that you were investigating alternatives. I'll run out of toner soon! Also, where can used cartridges go to avoid landfill and allow Lexmark to reuse them within their 'return' reconditioning program?

Hi there, unfortunately, we can not get hold of the compatibles for this machine currently. As for the return program if you would like to visit this link;- https://www.lexmark.com/en_gb/supplies-and-parts/reuse-and-recycling-program.html. This will explain how you can return your cartridges to be recycled.

There are still no compatible cartridges for this printer available anywhere, any update on the original post here? If you did get some you would have a captive audience as this printer was sold for under £200 but replacing the ink costs about £700 so a cheaper set of toner would probably be very popular for budget businesses who were sold this printer as a cheap option laser.

Hi there, we don't have the compatibles just yet, but we are working with a new manufacturer and hopefully, very soon we will be adding a new range of compatibles.
