The HP Photosmart C5380 is a first-class photo printer, so in addition to the standard black, cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges, you’ll need photo ink. These cartridges are specifically designed for printing photos. They use a dye-based ink which helps to make extra shades of black for photo prints. Your printer won’t work unless both types of black are installed. You'll then have a choice of using genuine or compatible ink cartridges.
XL Cartridges
HP’s Photosmart C5380 inks are also available in genuine and compatible XL size. These cartridges are excellent value. Although they are more expensive than standard cartridges, they are cost effective because the average you pay per page is lower. If you print frequently, XL is the best choice for you. I will email your information directly but our couriers will be coming to collect the incorrect cartridges that you ordered and we could put the new order on the system for you today so you don't have any delay and you'll be able to continue printing again. We regret to hear that your printer has stopped working, we have specialists who may be able to help get you back printing or offer a replacement printer. In terms of the cartridges you have already bought, if they are unused and still in their original packaging, and within your 14 day return period then we can arrange for these to be returned subject to a re-stocking fee. Please contact our customer service team to return any items as you will require an RMA number and a warehouse address for the return to be sent.
