What's the difference between the HP 364 black and the 364 photo cartridge, is there actually a difference, other than the box?

Hi there, that's a very good question! There is a difference between the two ink cartridges (other than the box!). The difference is that the photo black ink cartridge is only used when printing photos and it adds the glossy element to the picture. As such it only works on glossy photo paper where the standard black in the cartridge will be a matt finish and only work on standard or non-glossy paper. When you are printing, the dialogue box normally gives you the option to select the paper type and that's how the printer will decide which cartridge to use. Each one has a different slot in the printer and can't be interchanged. I hope that answers your question, if you have any more please let us know!

Will your compatibles actually print the same number as the HP ones? In my experience compatibles don't last as long.

Hi there, it sounds like you may have had a poor experience with your previous purchase of compatibles though I'm sure they weren't from us. Put simply, the compatibles will print as many pages as the original HP cartridges as they contain the exact same amount of ink in them. However, how many pages you print really depends on what you are printing and what the page coverage is. The stated page yields are a maximum figure based on 5% of an A4 page covered in ink. Printing at a higher percentage will reduce the number of pages printed. Thanks for your question, Stu.

How much is the postage to Isle of Wight for HP 364 inks, please?

Hello Joyce, the shipping over to Isle of Wight (and any other Channel Island) is still free, however, due to the need for couriers to switch to another van and ferry across, it can actually take a little bit longer than normal. Standard free delivery is normally a next day service but Isle of Wight delivery would take 2-4 days at the most. I hope that helps! If you need any more help please let me know!
