What is the returns policy and how do I return a cartridge?
We want you to have the best experience possible when shopping with TonerGiant. With over 20 years’ expertise, our friendly support team is here to help get you printing again quickly. You can arrange to return a product through our returns form, or by calling us on 0345 365 3605.
If your product becomes faulty
  • Original Cartridges: Return for a refund or replacement for up to 12 months.
  • Compatible cartridges: Return for a refund or replacement up to 3 years.
Please contact us a soon as possible to request a returns number and arrange a free collection.
If you change your mind - 30 Days to return:
  • You have 14 days from delivery to arrange a return and an additional 16 days to return the items to us once arranged (30 Days in total).
  • Ordered incorrectly? We’ll provide a returns number and address for you to send to.
  • Wrong item arrived – We’ll arrange a free collection of the incorrect product(s) and send a replacement.
After 14 days, you may still be able to return the product, but a 20% restocking fee will apply. After 30 days, returns are at our discretion.
Please note: Printer cartridges must be returned unopened, unused, with all seals intact and in a resalable condition, or returns may not be accepted.

How do I change the HP Officjet Pro 8100 inks?

To change the HP officejet pro 8100 ink cartridges, firstly check the LCD screen for which colour cartridge is empty and needs to be replaced, then follow these instructions:

  1. With the printer switched on open the front access door.
  2. Press down on the ink cartridge you need to replace until it clicks.
  3. Pull the cartridge towards you to remove it.
  4. Insert the new cartridge (after removing protective strips.
  5. Close the access door and the new cartridges will align / install.

You can tell when HP Officejet 8100 inks need replacing by looking at the LCD screen on the printer. There are status bars for each colour and when they become empty the printer will show you on screen.

Hi, unfortunately, we can't source the print head for the Officejet 8100 printer but I will make a few calls with additional suppliers to see if we can get it for you. How do I change the ink cartridges?

Hello, to change the ink cartridges on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8100 printer, make sure that your printer is switched on and the power button has been pressed, open the cartridge compartment door located under the scanner and wait for the cartridges to move to the centre. Then, slide-out any empty ink cartridges that you wish to replace, remove the new ink cartridge from its packaging and remove any labels covering the ink chips. SLot the new cartridge into its correct colour port until it clicks in place and then close the printer access door.
