Toners are available in 2 different capacities to cater for users with different volume needs, and that gives you the flexibility to save money if you don’t have a huge amount of printing to do.
Which HP M477fdw toners should I choose?
There are quite a lot of toner cartridges available for the HP M477fdw printer and that can make your choice a more difficult one than expected. The best way to think about what products are available is that for HP printers there are usually 2 different capacity toners for each individual colour (and large ‘HP 410X’ version that prints up to 6500 pages and a standard ‘HP 410A’ version that prints up to 2300 pages. Beyond that we also have our TonerGiant branded compatibles (depicted with a TonerGiant box / logo) that offer a fair discount compared to HP original toners. These are all listed on this page in order of multi-packs, then blacks, then cyan, magenta and finally yellow toners.
The best value options are always multi-packs that offer a collective saving compared to buying all individual colours separately. If you need several colour toners, it makes sense to opt for a pack instead. If you do however just want to buy one colour, then the most economical option to keep you printing for a while is the high capacity HP 410X toners. Look for the ‘410X’ in the products description. Hi there, unfortunately not. The M479 printers take the HP 415 toners so you can't use the HP 410 toners.

Hi Julian, I'm afraid we're unable to source the fuser from HP. The spares are quite difficult to get hold of but the product code you would need is RM2-6435.

I have just installed a toner cartridge in my HP MFP M477fdw and it now won't print at all. I put the original back in and everything was fine again. How do I now exchange all the toner cartridges I have purchased for the original ones?

Can you tell me what's the difference between the HP CF411X and the HP CF410A Cartridges, they're near twice the price?

Hi, there of course I can! The CF410A cartridge is a lower capacity cartridge so the number of pages that it can print up to is less than half as many as the CF411X cartridge. So the lower capacity cartridge can actually print as many as 2300 pages but the high capacity X cartridge can print up to 5000 cartridges, which will give you that bit extra and make it a more economical option!
