HP Colour LaserJet Pro M283fdw Toner Cartridges

The hp 206a cartridges are not UK cartridges (possibly US region). We only ship cartridges for UK printers and the UK HP M283fdw printer takes the 207A cartridges. If you are based outside of the UK or your printer was purchased outside of the UK, it's likely the model takes a different range of toners.

Hi there, yes its the same printer, the MFP just stands for 'multi-function printer' but its the same and uses the same cartridges.

All of the cartridges listed on this page will work correctly in the HP M283fdw printer.

Hi there, thanks for your question. Depending on the product, our own brand-compatible cartridges are remanufactured products with replacement parts. (The main case is a reused original case and springs/hoppers are replaced). We offer a 3-year guarantee which covers any faults or even if you aren't happy with the print quality compared to a six-month guarantee with the original HP products. 

As you will see compatible products are a much cheaper purchase than the original HP products but will print the same number of pages and are a good quality product, however, the nature of a remanufactured product means they will never be as flawless as an original HP toner so we always say its a great choice if you're conscious of the cost and don't need the print quality to be perfect. If you do need the best print quality, I would stick with the original HP.
