With so many printer and toner cartridge models available, it can be quite a task to ensure you're buying the correct cartridge for your HP M552dn machine and avoid issues when installing a new cartridge.
It's best to remember that the same toners will go in every printer from a series such as M552, and the letters that come after the model number represent the differing functionality of the printer. For example, in the M552dn, the 'dn' represents duplex (printing on both sides of the page) and network connectivity. Therefore the HP 508A and HP 508X toner range will work correctly in any printer in the M552 series.
How long will HP M552dn toners last?
If you're considering stocking up on HP M552 toners, you may be wondering if there are any expiry dates or how long the toner will last if stored away in a cupboard for use later in the year.
HP toners, typically have a 2-year expiry date however will last indefinitely if stored in a low-humidity area. Toner doesn't expire as such but can deteriorate in humid conditions, and after two years you might find that the software on the toner microchip will go out of date. For these reasons, its always best not to store replacement HP M552n toners for more than 18 months.

If your product becomes faulty
- Original Cartridges: Return for a refund or replacement for up to 12 months.
- Compatible cartridges: Return for a refund or replacement up to 3 years.

If you change your mind - 30 Days to return:
- You have 14 days from delivery to arrange a return and an additional 16 days to return the items to us once arranged (30 Days in total).
- Ordered incorrectly? We’ll provide a returns number and address for you to send to.
- Wrong item arrived – We’ll arrange a free collection of the incorrect product(s) and send a replacement.
After 14 days, you may still be able to return the product, but a 20% restocking fee will apply. After 30 days, returns are at our discretion.
Please note: Printer cartridges must be returned unopened, unused, with all seals intact and in a resalable condition, or returns may not be accepted.
