The standard capacity cartridges have an estimated page yield of 350, as stated by the manufacturer. XL cartridges can print up to 1,100 pages and XXL 2,2000. As you will notice the yield can double from XL to XXL but the price does not double. It often makes better economical sense to purchase the larger capacity cartridges as the cost per page is decreased in the long run and you will need to re-order less frequently.

The only difference between them is the page yield, this means that the XL and XXL will print more and have a better cost per page compared to the standard capacity cartridge. From the outside, these cartridges look identical but inside contain different volumes of ink. The manufacturer offers these different capacities to give customers a choice on how much they would like to spend or give the best cost per page.
