Why are there about 10 different black cartridges for this printer, I don't know which one I'm meant to buy?

Hi there, I can understand your confusion! There are 4 different black cartridges as there are extra-large capacity and standard capacity regular black ink cartridges, and standard capacity and xl capacity photo black cartridges. The regular black cartridges are for printing things such as text and plain colours but the photo cartridges are utilised when you need to print many different toners of black for photographs.
