Which toners does the Brother MFC-L2860DW use?
There are 2 different options to choose from when purchasing MFC-L2860DW replacement toners including the standard Brother TN2510 black toner (able to print up to 1200 pages), and the extra large Brother TN2510XL toner (capable of printing up to 3000 pages). The high capacity TN2510XL offers a much lower cost per page which will save you money in the long run.
If you're looking for a replacement drum unit, you will need the Brother DR2510. Not to be confused with the toner cartridges, the drum unit is the maintenance part of the printer that distributes the toner powder onto the paper. It's as easy to install as the toner cartridge and usually connects to the toner. Full instructions will be included in the box.
