Do you get an HLL5100dn drum unit with the TN3480 toner cartridge or do they need to be bought separately?

No, the drum units don't come with the toner cartridges when you buy a new one but your existing drum unit should last for around 6 to 7 toner cartridge replacements depending on how much you print so all you have to do is take the empty toner out of the printer and pull the green lever to remove the existing toner from the drum and attach the new toner cartridge. Your 5100n printer should give you an indication of when the drum is at the end of its life and needs replacing.

What's the cost per page for the Brother toners?

Hi, so the cost per page will differ depending on the current price of the toner (our prices change based on the market cost and price) so currently the Brother TN3480 comes in at approximately 1.1p per page and the Brother TN3430 comes in at about 1.8p per page. If you're looking for a better deal our compatibles will be much cheaper per page at 0.5p per page and 1.2p per page respectively.

Are these genuine brother parts or are they the copy versions?

Hello! The 3 items at the bottom of the page (Brother TN3480, TN3430 and DR3400) are all genuine Brother products. The top two items on the page are our own brand compatible toners which are the equivalent of the Brother toners. We don't sell any copies of the originals. Our own brand compatibles are partly recycled original cartridges with new gears and cogs added to them. They're tested to high standards and have a brilliant 3 year guarantee!
