If you’re a fan of superhero movies, 2016 promises an exciting year. That’s because there’s a total of seven superhero films set for release throughout the year, including Suicide Squad, Captain America: Civil War, Gambit, Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, X-Men: Apocalypse, Deadpool and Doctor Strange.
But we aren’t here to revel in the chiselled jawlines and questionable getups of the world’s favourite heroes; after all, they’re only fictional. Instead, we’re here to celebrate the real life superheroes making a little simpler for their colleagues.
Like their big screen counterparts, these heroes and heroines give a lot but expect nothing in return. And so, to celebrate the extraordinary effort these regular workers show in the face of mounting admin, here we unmask the workplace superheroes making the 9 to 5 more bearable for the rest of us.
Every office across the country has its own workplace warriors; those invaluable employees every boss searches for, but rarely finds. Without them, that extra pile of paperwork would never get done, the post would never get sent, and brew rounds would be few and far between.
