If I use this alternative cartridge, will the replace toner message from the printer go. My concern is that as I am using an alternative cartridge, the chip may not be recognised by the Printer and the messages still remain!

Hi there, yes the 'replace toner' message will go once you install it. The chips on the toner will update the printer unless Brother releases a printer update that knocks the chip out of date. If that happens, you can contact us for a replacement or refund.
