Brother LY6754001 Fuser
If you want to keep your Brother machine in optimum working condition and your prints pristine then eventually you will need to replace your Brother LY6754001 fuser Unit. The fuser unit is one of the most important parts of your printer and it's job is to melt or fuse the toner particles and seal them on the page before the paper comes out. Preventing various issues with your printer output.
If you've recently been experiencing some issues with your printer such as smudged colours, lines down the page or messy prints then there's a good chance that the fuser unit needs to be changed, however if that is the case then your printer should give you a suitable alert message and let you know when it's time to buy a new Brother LY6754001.
Your fuser unit will last much longer than a toner cartridge and should only infrequently be replaced. If it is time for you to buy a new genuine brother fuser unit then the best thing to do is follow the instructions found in your printer manual to make sure it's installed correctly. This shouldn't be too difficult and shouldn't need any special skills or a printer technician to do so.
We offer super fast free shipping on all Brother replacement parts so shop today and we'll send your order on a next business day delivery providing you place your order between Monday and Friday excluding Bank holidays.

Q
Does this product fit Brother DCP9020CDW? Can I fit it myself?
30 October 2023
A
Hi, yes this is correct for the DCP9020CDW printer. You will get instructions and you will be able to do it fit it yourself.

Q
Is this equivalent to the D00N0D001, and will it fit a Brother HL-L3230CDW printer?
21 October 2022
A
Hi Graham, if you would like to view all of the available cartridges for the Brother HL-L3230CDW please follow this link here;- https://www.tonergiant.co.uk/model/Brother-HL-L3230CDW-toner-cartridges/.

Q
I have a brother dcp9020cdw. The black roller above the fuser dark red roller is disintegrating - would this be a part of a new fuser unit and can easily be replaced or do I need an engineer? If it's an engineer, I will almost certainly replace the printer.

Hi, thanks for your question.

With the replacement fuser for your printer, you just get what's in the picture on our page here (the whole unit).

It's difficult for me to say without seeing the roller that's disintegrating whether that's part of the fuser unit or a separate part of the printer. The best thing to try is to take your current fuser unit out of the printer and see if the damaged part is attached to it. If not, it might be worth asking an engineer but I'm unsure if an engineer would be able to replace just the damaged roller.

A printer has a life of around 5-8 years so typically as the printer models get older, it becomes harder to get replacement parts and the cost to fix/call out sometimes isn't worthwhile. To call an engineer out might cost £75 and upwards, even if they can't fix it, though I would imagine one might be able to tell you over the phone before they come out.
