How long should the black cartridge last? I dont think Ive had enough pages out of it!

Hi Ron, thanks for your question about page yield. Depending on whether you have the standard or the high capacity black Oki toner cartridge for the MC562DN printer, you can print up to 7000 pages with the high capacity cartridge or 3500 pages with the standard toner however, the amount of pages that can be printed does depend on what you are printing and how efficient your printer is. The page yields listed by the manufacturer are based on 5% coverage of the page (printing bog standard text) so if you have printed images of blocks of colour then the toner will run out faster. Also if your printer is fairly old, this can also affect the output. If you have any more questions, please let us know.
