\nBig Simpsons fan? Have you ever thought about how many times our favourite cartoon Dad has said the word \u2018D\u2019oh\u2019?<\/p>\n

If it’s a question you’ve often pondered – and if you hadn’t before you probably are now – don\u2019t worry; we\u2019ve done the hard work for you. We\u2019ve calculated that Homer Simpson has said the classic catchphrase a whopping 1,130 times<\/strong> throughout the show\u2019s extensive run over the years. Ay Caramba!<\/p>\n

Season 4 featured the highest usage of the word, with 100 \u2018D\u2019ohs\u2019 occurring \u2013 and episode 24 featured the most with nearly 35 \u2018D\u2019ohs\u2019. At the opposite end of the scale, Homer only said \u2018D\u2019oh\u2019 twice throughout the whole of Season 6. Maybe the writers were trying a new direction?<\/p>\n

So, being experts in printing, our next logical question was obvious. We wanted to know how the whole Simpsons script \u2013 we\u2019re talking all 28 seasons and 618 episodes – translated into pages and printer ink<\/a> use. Bear with us on this…<\/p>\n

If we narrow things down and want to compile all 1,439, 970 words onto A4 paper it would take up a whopping 760 pages (in Arial, size 12 font). We\u2019ve calculated that Homer Simpson has said the classic catchphrase a whopping 1,130 times<\/strong> throughout the show\u2019s extensive run over the years. Ay Caramba!<\/p>

Season 4 featured the highest usage of the word, with 100 \u2018D\u2019ohs\u2019 occurring \u2013 and episode 24 featured the most with nearly 35 \u2018D\u2019ohs\u2019. At the opposite end of the scale, Homer only said \u2018D\u2019oh\u2019 twice throughout the whole of Season 6. Maybe the writers were trying a new direction?<\/p>

So, being experts in printing, our next logical question was obvious. We wanted to know how the whole Simpsons script \u2013 we\u2019re talking all 28 seasons and 618 episodes - translated into pages and ink use. Bear with us on this...<\/p>

If we narrow things down and want to compile all 1,439, 970 words onto A4 paper it would take up a whopping 760 pages (in Arial, size 12 font). So, if you wanted to print out the whole of the Simpsons script you\u2019d be best off picking up a Canon PIXMA iP7250 \u2013 which offers the cheapest print run \u2013 to print the lot!<\/p>
